Plein-Airs
Arijeet has travelled extensively to participate in plein air painting events across India and abroad. Often saying, "If there is any art school, it is the plein air," he believes there is no substitute for painting directly from life. Plein air, a French term meaning "in the open air," challenges artists to work quickly as light, weather, and atmosphere constantly change. Beyond painting, these events bring together artists from diverse backgrounds, creating opportunities to exchange ideas, techniques, and perspectives. In addition to attending numerous plein air gatherings, Arijeet has also curated several, fostering artistic communities and creative exchange.
